Our church is one of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Churches established outside Ethiopia and is one of the Ethiopian Community churches in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. 

 The goal of the Sunday School is always to learn about and preserve the Eastern & Oriental Orthodox beliefs that the prophets prophesized & the apostles evangelized as well as pass it to the next generation.

Debre Haile Kidus Gabriel and Kedus Yohannes Metimik Church perform requiem for dead, prayer for ill and imprisoned and marriage, family, and individual counseling for its members.
